Due to the wet weather and our oval being unusable at the moment, training on Thursday 19th is CANCELLED and also our Tri Centre meet on Saturday 21st is also CANCELLED. Enjoy your weekend off. The Tri Centre Carnival has been shifted to the following Saturday Oct 28th.

The clubrooms will be open this Saturday from 8:30AM to 9:30AM to accept nominations for Regional Relays. 

Introduction to Coaching Course – Sun Oct 29th at Maroochy LAC

The ITC is an awesome way to learn the basics of coaching Little Athletics. Several people who attended our Parent Info Workshop two weeks ago expressed an interest in attending an ITC. Our friends at Maroochy are hosting an ITC on Sunday Oct 29. More information on the ITC is available here and the registration form is available here. The cost is $99 but Nambour LAC will pay $49 towards that fee so it only costs you $50 – all we ask is that you actively join in with our coaching group as much as you can. If you wish to attend please fill out the registration form and email it to centremanager@nambourlittleathletics.com.au or bring it to the canteen this Saturday morning (8:30-9:30) along with your $50.

Regional Relays Nov 11th at USC

This years Suncoast Regional Relay carnival is being held at the USC Track on 11th November. The Relays are a fun and exciting event with teams competing in both track and field events against other Centres from across the Suncoast Region. The Relays are open to all athletes from Under 7 to Under 17. Nominations for the Relay teams are NOW OPEN. Here is the Nomination Form which shows you what events are available. Each Age Group competes in two Track Relays and three Field events. Track teams are made up of four athletes and field teams are made up of two athletes. Please ask one of the committee if you require more info on how the Relays work.

The Nomination Fee is $3.50 per athlete per event – these fees are set by LAQ. Please bring your nomination form and entry fee to the canteen. Nominations close on October 28.

Structures Tri Centre Carnival – New Date Oct 28th from 8AM

Maroochy and Bli Bli will now be visiting us on Sat Oct 28th for our first Tri Centre carnival of the season. We will be running a slightly modified event program to account for the extra numbers, and we will include a relay race for all age groups. This is a fun morning with a great atmosphere – no medals, no winners, just good fun with our friends from Bli Bli and Maroochy. We encourage everyone to attend. And massive thanks to our Gold Sponsor Structures Engineering and Design for supporting this event.

Did you know that you can view your child’s results on-line? Each week we enter the results into the ResultsHQ database which you can access. The instructions are on our website on the Results On Line page.
