This week is the last week that you can nominate for the Suncoast Regional Carnival. Nominations and payment must be received at the club this Saturday. No late nominations or late changes will be accepted. More info below.
Coles Patches
Every athlete must please collect a Coles Sponsor Patch which is to be sewn onto the right chest of your shirt. All Jetstar, Medibank, or IGA patches must be removed. This is COMPULSORY for all athletes attending Regionals. There will be officials who will be checking this. The Coles patches are available from the club on Saturday.
Regional Championships @ Noosa Feb 9th to 11th
The Suncoast Regional Championships is the major carnival for the season. This season they are being held at Noosa LAC from Feb 9 to 11, 2018. Athletes from U7 to U17 (sorry no U6’s or TT’s) can compete in up to 5 events. Top four finishers qualify to attend the LAQ State Championships. Nominations are due no later than JANUARY 27th and no late nominations will be accepted. There is a flat nomination fee of $15 per athlete for Regionals.

Note that some events will be on the Friday evening (U11-U17 1500m, U12 Jav, U11 Triple, U14 Discus, U10 Shot, U13 Triple).

Classified Multi-Class athletes can nominate for the Multi-Class events at Regionals. Please ask Rob for the Multi-Class nomination form.
Once again Nambour is responsible for Track Marshalling at Regionals so we will be needing some helpers throughout the carnival.
We will be emailing out further information on Regionals next week – including details of parking, uniform requirements, arrival times etc etc.

- Feb 23 – Tri Centre Carnival at Maroochy LAC – FRIDAY NIGHT 5:30PM to 8:30PM (No Meet at Nambour on Sat 24th)
- Mar 17 – Trophy Presentation
- Mar 23, 24, 25 – LAQ State Championships at QSAC.
