Come and Try Day at PCYC a great success

Over 200 kids attended the Come and Try Summer Sports Day at the PCYC yesterday afternoon. It was a great success with 10 different sports available for the children to test out, including Little Athletics. We had Shot Put, Discus and High Jump set up, plus the clowns which always seem to be a favourite. We had some great feedback from parents during the afternoon about the way we ran our events, and hopefully we’ve found some new budding Little Athlete’s who will join our Centre this season.

Possibly the main highlight was late in the afternoon with a few Dad’s testing out their High Jump skills. It is quite possible that business attire is not all that conducive to the Fosbury Flop, but it sure was entertaining!
