Link Family visiting this Saturday 22nd

Just a reminder that we are hosting about 20 kids from Link Family Sunshine Coast this Saturday morning. Link Family provides support services to disabled people and their families and carers. Each year Nambour Little Athletics invites Link Family to one of our Saturday morning competitions to give their kids a taste of athletic events, and they will be coming this weekend.

Also in attendance will be Bill Barbour from the Nambour Bendigo Bank and Eddie Nicholls from the Nambour RSL to make presentations to the Link Family children. We are also trying to get the Nambour Weekly or the Sunshine Coast Daily to send a photographer to record the event.

Please make all of our guests welcome this Saturday.

As there will be lots of extra people there on Saturday, we need some HELP. We are in desperate need of some help for Kerry in the canteen, so if there is someone who can help please let us know, or just jump in on Saturday.

Also if one or two Dad’s could come a bit early to help set up, and pack up at the end of the morning that would be wonderful. We will be using 3 x Long Jump pits, 2 x Shot, 2 x Discus, 2 x High Jump, plus hurdles on Saturday so there is lots of gear to set up and then pack up. Thanks!
