Regional Relays are coming soon…..nominate now!

This years Suncoast Regional Relays Carnival is being held at Gympie Little Athletics on 11th November. The Relays are a fun and exciting event with teams competing in both track and field events against other Centres from the Suncoast Region. The Relays are open to all athletes from Under 7 and older. For each age group there are 2 track relay events and 3 field relay events.

We will be looking for nominations for the Relay teams over the next few weeks, and Kev will be starting some baton change practice this Saturday morning.

The cost is $2.50 per athlete per event and we strongly encourage our athletes to nominate for all 5 events in their age group as it becomes very difficult to manage the teams if athletes pick less than the 5 events. Nominations and fees must be received by October 27th.

Given our registration numbers this year we would really like to see a Nambour relay team from every age group at this years Relay Carnival. So don’t delay – Nominate Now!!
